About

Ideology

Robin isn't just another Linux distribution it's a personal OS for your ideas. Built on the rock-solid foundation of Arch Linux, Robin embraces a minimalistic philosophy: no bloat, no distractions, just the essential tools you need to create your own perfect system. In the spirit of true do-it-yourself computing, Robin gives you full control over every layer of your environment. From the bootloader to the desktop, nothing is preordained you choose what's installed, how it looks, and how it behaves. Every component is hand-picked, every configuration file tells a part of your story. Though basic configs are provided for feasibility.

Robin is based on Arch, it inherits the latest software, the legendary Arch Wiki, and the rolling release model that keeps your system cutting-edge. But unlike a preconfigured distro, Robin doesn't hand you a finished product.

Developer

Hi, I am Akrit Behera, Developer of this OS

I created Robin because I believe computing is a beautiful craft, not a headache. I've always been drawn to minimalism and the satisfaction of building something with my own hands.

I wanted an operating system that reflected that philosophy. Robin is my attempt to strip away the unnecessary and leave only the freedom to create. I keep it lightweight, transparent, and flexible, so you can shape your system exactly the way you want it. For me, it's not just about using Linux — it's about diving into the world of OS tech.
